About Kaufland

Kaufland is a German supermarket chain that was founded in 1984. It operates in several countries in Europe, including Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovakia. The store offers a wide range of products including fresh produce, meats, dairy, and baked goods, as well as household items and personal care products. Kaufland also has a large selection of non-food items such as clothing, electronics, and furniture. The store is known for its competitive prices and high-quality products. In addition to its physical stores, Kaufland also offers an online shopping service for customers to purchase products online and have them delivered to their homes.

Situation

Kaufland operates more than 750 hypermarkets in Germany. They wanted to increase in-store sales and promote the newly launched Kaufland Card, a customer loyalty system. A new, consumer-friendly communication channel was desired to boost brand visibility and engagement.

Solution

Through a long-term in-car marketing campaign, Kaufland was successful in connecting with nearby customers and driving them to their locations with sponsored location-based content. The In-Car Offer campaign resulted in a 10% conversion rate, showcasing the benefits of engaging with their customer base through 4screen’s innovative marketing channel.
